I had the last round on draft and didn't care for it, I've been disappointed with US for awhile and quit chasing them.

Parleaux has been money since this shut down happened, the stuff they're brewing is too notch.

frick. I love it.

Its one of my favorite IPAs right now if not my favorite. However, I do NOT like all of the flavor variations they have come out with. They taste extremely artificial.

This Gose was aged on watermelon gummi candies and then fresh pressed watermelon juice and pulp!

LOL, watermelon is in season. Just use fresh melon. So they melted down a bunch of crazy processed sugars and ingredients in the gummis and threw them in the beer. That's pretty gross if you ask me.

Don't care if it's sweet or not. They put some nasty stuff in those gummi bears, man. I don't want that crap heated up and fused in the beer I'm drinking, sorry.

Don't like Satsuma? I like the normal and the Satsuma.

I've tried on multiple occasions to get a taste for sours and goses, and I just can't do it. It's something about the aftertaste for me.

Yeah...they're like finding out a woman has a yeast infection in the dark

I'll stick to my simple Envie or fresh budweiser.

I dont understand the comparison

Probably the ridiculous price. Parish started this here locally with obscene price points. As long as people keep paying, these breweries will keep hiking up the prices.

One of the shiny hooks they do is “New Beer Alert” or “Special Release” or “Small Batch”. They somehow think that this makes the beer more exclusive thus jacks up the price. In reality they can brew this whenever they want and at whatever scale. They are simply marketing it as rare to drive up demand. And....sadly, it works.

ETA: and yes, it appears the person in charge of recipes is an 8 year old child.

What do you want in a beer little boy?

“Gummy bears, skittles, chocolate, pixie stix, and I want it to be green!”

It’s an acquired taste, but also, many aren’t made very well. Majority of the sours you are seeing are one not kettle sours. No one wants to take the time to make a decent, long aged, mixed culture sour that actually has some complexity.
And, the mass sours that are available are not restrained. All too often they are overly sour.

I'm with you. We have been getting 3 week old all day ipa 15 packs in shreveport. I've been crushing them. Kroger has them prices to $1.09/beer. Can't beat that with a stick.
