$20 is fairly decent for that type of release.

They also charge tax on top. So $22/4-pack. Which is way too much, most of their beers kinda suck.

I would buy this for the novelty of it. I can imagine, to my palate, it would enjoy it as much as the original K&B beer, which is not much.

I'm more than positive it isn't purple. but please prove me wrong.

I mean someones gotta buy it.

If its not purple than yeah there its definitely a bit of a nostalgia money grab

if on the other hand they added purple fruit to a beer and came out with a beer and said, "wow we just made a K&B purple beer" thats pretty understandable. Considering the #1 memory most people under 35 have of K&B is the color purple.

Everyone is $17-24 depending on what it is. $20 is fairly decent for that type of release.

I memba the days of complaining about GITM being $14. That was only a year or two ago. I miss those days

Back in the day, I used to get a case of K&B beer for $4.99. It drank like a $4.99 a case beer.
Urban South has been doing some goofy things of late - a Pina Colada snoball juice beer?!?

Price difference is more significant than the volumetric change

Yeah, I guess but when you look and see 3 or 4 that you may want to try, that price point overcomes the curiosity.

These 16 ounce ones usually aren't the everyday, in the grocery store beers like ghost, holy roller, etc. It's the specialty releases.

I'm sure they didn't get permission for this either.

permission from who? I'd be willing to bet Rite Aid, as the purchaser of their assets, doesn't give two shits about who uses a logo from a brand they purchased and killed nearly a quarter century ago.

Am I the only one that thinks Urban South is going overboard on new releases? Many of them are $20 a 4-pack as well.

That's kinda market price for 4 pints of all of these limited batch beers that are all the rage among our local breweries right now.
