They couldn't have parked a vehicle in front that at least was all one color?

You're telling me they took the old Bud's and turned it to a different burger place? I have a couple of funny stories from that Bud's I may share at a future date. The new iteration looks confused, like the owner is trying too many different things, such as poorboys, wings and chicken schnitzel, which, by the way, I love, salads, and so on. I have yet to go, but I will. Nothing wrong with Sysco.

I love a good chicken schnitzel. Someone go eat it and tell us if it's good.

It bothers me that they called it a fried fish sandwich instead of po-boy.

I was thinking the Middle Eastern place next door just expanded, but it seems more vietnamese/chinese in ownership.

The Halal rating likely means it is the restaurant next door that just opened a new place.

I don't have high hopes based on those signs in the window that drive me nuts each time I'm going to pick up some MF'n wangs at Moe's.

Uptown Burgers, proudly serving smoothies, burgers, schnitzel...

Also, what is a breakfast coffee banana?

Saw a few guys doing some work in there a few weeks ago. I would say they could be in the same family as the gyro bros next door.

Over / Under - Lasts 3 months.

Why did that buds shut down when the owner retired? I know it was a franchise location, but no one was willing to buy it? Thought that spot was profitable.

I’ve been getting the vibe for the past few years that the owners of buds broiler corporate are not the brightest and don’t know what they are doing. Shutting down the uptown and mid city location was a very stupid move imo.

I think it has something to do with the franchisee fees and they way they handle themselves with franchisees.

Anyway, Bud's is coming back to Mid-City two doors down from the Bulldog. It's still a parking lot, but hope they get moving soon.

I actually started a thread asking for an update. The plans were killed in city council. So that’s not happening anymore.

I was not impressed with the wings when I ordered out last Monday—cheap and cold when delivered to the house. Give your money to Mo’s across the street if you’re in the area.
