If it's not too invasive of a question, how much did that cost?

Very nice. I had pretty much the entire middle of that menu last week and I gotta say that sardine was a nice surprise after being suggested by them because I like mackerel.

How was the fried Ayu?

It was good, you ate everything but the fins. The photo sucks because I videoed the fish and didn’t photo it. The taste was similar to a fried sac au lait, squeeze the key lime on it and dip in the course salt.

I am not an Uni fan, that and the sardine was my least favorite dishes

I’m dying to try that uni rice. Wagyu looks awesome too.

Yea it's definitely on the other end of the spectrum in regards to raw fish. I had ordered some mackerel nigiri earlier and it was the only thing I skipped over on the raw daily menu so she suggested I try it knowing they're kinda the same

So if you haven't had mackerel, dont bother

I avoid mackerel when possible, but really like the lighter delicate fishes like flounder. I also love tuna, the Bluefin toro sushi was absolutely incredible.

The flavors on the escargot were incredible but the snail meat was tough, if they could get those tender they would be incredible. The murder point oysters were very, very good

Agree. I had them at Jolie Pearl and they were fantastic

Did they have a good crowd?

Was also there. My least favorite were the soup and sardine. Soup was too heavy for the end of the meal. All else was great. Had a great time.

I liked the soup but would have really liked to have that served after the escargot, you are right getting that at the end was too much

They appeared to be sold out. motorboat had a big table and they started much later than us. We had 6:00 reservations, got there and were seated at 5:45 and didn’t walk out the door till 8:45

Yeah it took 3+ hours for us too but the food and experience were great! It was pretty rowdy in there towards the end of the night.

The staff was starting to do shots when we left. I saw you at the other table but didn't want to interrupt yall's dinner. Seems like we only cross paths with Murder Point Oysters are involved...

I thought about it, but I wanted to see them do a few of these before I trusted them with a $300-$400 meal for two. Pictures look legit, though. I'll seriously consider it if they do something similar in the future.
