Other than smoking them, was is the F&B Board doing with them? Butcher had them marked down to $.69/lb. Got four of them. I can't remember if they had skin on them or not. I want to say they don't.

TIA

Other than smoking?

Some kind of braise in tomato sauce or smother with onions.

First you make a roux.

Then you make a turkey and sausage gumbo.

That was my first thought. I made some stuffed turkey wings after seeing a thread here about them. I would think thighs would work well too.

Basically used this recipe. I think you posted it originally.

Mash

Here is how mine turned out.

Edit - here is a link to the thread I was talking about.
Mash Again

Pretty sure mine are skinless which would exclude stuffing as described in that recipe.

I honestly don’t think I’ve ever seen these at the store. But I’m definitely interested.

Same here. There's always plenty of wings, legs and turkey necks on hand, but I too have never seen turkey thighs in the meat case.

Think they deconstruct their turkeys because they sell breast, half breast, and all the other parts just like a chicken.

Do smothered turkey, no different than smothered chicken or pork chops.

Got lazy. Set them out to thaw and put off cooking them. Was making a pot of pinto beans and decided to put two of them in there along with some 'cajun' sausage the local butcher shop makes. Fantastic. Not as flavorful as ham, but very good.
