I haven't done one of these threads in a while, but greeling season is here...

I am eating by myself, since the wife and kiddies are out somewhere eating.

I decided to keep it simple. I got a small piece of tuna at QFC and pulled some herbs from the garden. Thyme, sage, rosemary, etc... Whatever ya got will work, I reckon.

I added some olive oil, garlic, and red wine vinegar, and let my tuna marinate for 1/2 hour in it.

The marinade that I did not put on my tuna, was dual purposed, by adding some mayo and lemon juice to make an aioli.

I picked some lettuce and strawberries from the garden, along with some store-bought blackberries.

Money shot. Very good and very easy dish to prepare. It is fresh and delicious.

It was not a thick piece of tuna. No more than 2 minutes on each side.

We do tuna steaks fairly often, I also like to do them as a melt or sandwich.

A day and a half or so in Cava (cheap, sweet champagne).

Profit.
