Mrs Coater and I will be heading to Tuscon in a few weeks for a tennis tournament. We'll be staying at El Conquistador which looks to be slightly north of town. We'll have a car. Looking for any recs regarding food and drinks (especially brewery recs). Open to any and all suggestions. Gracias

ETA: I apparently can’t spell Tucson

If you are there long enough, there are some nice wineries nearby, Wilcox and that area, if you're into that.

Also a day/morning trip to Bisbee is pretty cool

Baja Cafe.

Try one of their benedicts. One of the best breakfast places I've ever eaten at.

If you are not a full on beer snob this place might be to your liking. My wife and I enjoyed dinner/beers watching LSU football early November last year.

Iron John’s Brewing - small place, but great beer.

TUC-SON, say it with me.
Pueblo Vida is in town, a hop-heavy brewery with some great beer. Le Buzz might be our favorite coffee shop we’ve visited. The use a lot of spices and herbs and use them well. We didn’t eat there, but the menu looked great and the place was packed. You’ll be near Mt Lemmon. Could be snowing at the top already. If so, it’s a pretty and peaceful drive to the top and back with some lookouts along the way.

El charro, Guadalajara grill, MichaelAngelo’s

Head over to dove mountain and go to the ritz for dinner
Stop at dove mountain brewery where they have 35 Arizona beers on tap. I will likely be sitting at the bar.
