maybe it was an off day... idk but mine was pretty damn good and i didnt find it overly greasy at all

I agree with a lot of what you said. For God's sake, the last time I went there, they couldn't do onion rings right. But the prices are pretty low. I took a friend there for his birthday to watch the LSU-Bama game in 2009 and our tab after hours of eating and drinking was $50-$60.

A couple weeks ago I took a little lady to the one in Lafayette after dinner for drinks. I live close to it and Tap Room was absurdly packed, so we went. Her and I each had 2 beers. 4 Parish Envies. Total = $26
That's $6.50 a beer, and stupid.

I've been to Fat Cow once, I thought it was a good burger. Not best in BR or anything, but not bad at all.

Nawlins Jazz Cafe on magazine.
Menu is too large, food takes forever, service is some of the worst in New Orleans. They literally hired their family or friends to run the place or so it seems. Owner is a dick too.

You actually ate there? I despise that place. I keep hoping to run into the owner so I can tell him how horrible his store front looks. I've heard the new fancy restaurant across the street had it out with him over those lights.

I went to Joey K's mainly because I saw it on the Food Channel or something. The items they showed on TV weren't on their menu. Their spaghetti tasted like Spaghetti O's. And service was terrible.

I can't believe someone on the board ate at this place!
I have issues with some restaurants, some bigger than others but that place is a disgrace. It's an eyesore, and a joke.
It may be the single worst restaurant idea in the history of New Orleans. If they are open in September I will be shocked. Their appearance on that bogus show was more than telling.
I would love a review of that place Zealot....

It's a local chain. It's not that bad IMO for what it is. They really have stepped up there game in the last few years.
