Best in the world and casing not chewy. The others are way to smoky to compete.

I had Market Basket (Vinton location)regular and smoked last weekend. If it's the same at the LC Nelson Road location, then while suffice for a road breakfast, that boudin should never be on any "best" list, unless it's "Beat Boudin West of Iowa".

What about the tasso at Jacob's in LaPlace? That was the best I've ever had.

Don't be so overly sensitive. I specifically clarified IF.

Appreciate the heads up. I'll be sure to visit Nelson Street location next time I'm in the area.

Just left Krotz Springs and was told to go to Kartchners across the street from Billy's. Will never go to Billy's again. Try it next time and you will see what I mean. Best boudin I ever ate. Boudin balls with cream cheese and jalapeño were out of this world!!

I've been telling people since 2004 on here to go to Early's for their boudin, and nobody pays any mind

There was once a time when Early's and Don's Country Corner were the only boudin game in town. Early's for boudin and Don's Country Corner for boudin balls

Because they're sub-par when compared to Billy's, Nunus, and T-Boys.

Boudin balls are too dry and tough at Kartchner's. Can't compete with Billy's.

Maybe I got an off batch. It wasn't bad, but wasn't up to expectation considering how awesome their sausage is, and didn't think it was of the quality of Early's.
