Iverstine's usually has them, just call before you go over to make sure.

Costco here in DFW always has Tri-Tip so Id try there. Honestly one of my favorite meats to cook. I choose the reverse sear method.

Love Tri Tip. It's one of the best cuts IMO. Not sure about BR but if you're ever in Nola/Metry Breaux Mart always has in stock.

i just dont agree..... Not as good as a filet or ribeye, and not as good as brisket or a roast.

Rub with garlic powder and Tony Cachere. Blacken in an iron skillet and finish at around 350 in the oven until medium/medium rare. Delicious.

It's at a nice sweet spot size-wise between those two options, though.

Drive through BR to brusly and maybe I’ll give you one from Hassell Cattle Company to try lol. They have by far been my favorite Tri-tip source.

Gonna strongly disagree with you. Here's the smoked tri tip I made on New Year's with some stovetop mac & cheese. Smoky, tender, fat rendered nicely; just an excellent cut of beef if you cook and cut it right:

Agree. I grilled my first one (and only 2nd time grilling without help, lol) a couple weeks ago and it came out fantastic.

Tri Tip is a great piece of meat and I can eat it by itself but love to make tri tip sandwiches.

Used to be a place called Hitching Post in Lompoc CA and they made an incredible TT sandwich. I would put it up against anyone’s favorite sandwich if they were still around or I could find their recipe.

I find they are like a London Broil which I grew up eating because that was what was around here. Tri Tip this Far East is relatively new.

This one came from Costco and was nice. I cut into it too soon and cooked about 5 degrees too much. Like most around these types cuts really good as long as not overcooked. Mine was on the cusp.
