The frozen chicken tikka masala is solid. Better than a typical grocery store tv dinner.

During the Fall they have awesome ginger beer and its very well priced (considering its an item thats comically over priced) . Its hard to find here. To many people have figured it out. I guess mules are popular in DFW during thanksgiving and christmas.

What sort of foods do you like to use this on? I have it in my pantry, but haven't opened it.

These are the types of things I buy also. Trader Joes is like half the price of a grocery store for these types of things.

Plus I grab produce, cheese, nuts, snacks, interesting frozen things, seasonal items, fresh flowers or plants etc while I am there.

One of the best things I have had from TJ's recently is the heirloom whole/raw chickens they started carrying. Cooked it on the ceramic grill with a couple apple wood chunks, outstanding flavor. The one here in Santa Fe typically has some really good local craft beer as well. Find their berries to be much better than other groceries as well as dairy products and nitro cold brew coffee.

This isn’t food, but they have the best shaving cream. They usually have some good beer, but I’ve purchased old beer from them also.

Just went today and a few new things for me:

Salsa Verde chips. Delicious. They are in a display at the back of the store past the fruit and veggies. Not spicy but great flavor.

Kimchi. I didn’t know if I would like it or not but I love Asian food. Took a taste and I am salivating at the idea of making a plate of fresh basmati rice with a 6 and a half minute boiled egg.

I was super bummed out that they had none of their chili lime chips. It’s their version of Takis which are 100% better than Takis. I wanted to get like 3 bags. It’s not seasonal so they must be waiting on a new shipment.

I haven’t tried it yet but got a vegetable biryani that was new to me, may have just never noticed it before.

I don't generally like ginger snap cookies, but theirs are excellent.

What do all you foodies recommend from Trader Joe's?

Like others have said, it's not a one-stop-shop.

But, I only go for moderately healthy snacks to stash in my office. Spicy peanuts, some of the dried fruit, things like that.
