It does. I can't believe it took so long to finally get something back into that space.

Looks nice. Hopefully they'll add more higher end retail.

Wife and I went to the one here in Houston off of Voss/memorial. Was suprised how small it was. Liked the assortment of items they had though. Including a cheese made with port beer..mmmmmmm.

I picked up a couple bottles of Syrah/Merlot mix a lady said was really good for $5 a bottle. I was suprised how good it was.

I still can't believe that DPW lets developers get away with no on-site stormwater management. That property outfalls directly in to Dawson Creek.

Thanks for posting the renderings for the center. I hadn't seen them yet. I've been anxious for all of that to get done. Looks pretty nice.

I've only been in a Trader Joe's once for about 10 minutes in DC. Right now I like going to Fresh Market for nicer groceries. Sometimes Whole Foods. How does it stack up against those two?

Where's it been going for 40 years? It's not like the improvements will be adding stormwater to Dawson Creek above what's been going there since the original center was built -- and I don't know that it's ever been a problem.

I'm not getting what your gripe is here.

Cheaper prices by a large amount, but there are things on the shelves to get when you want a cheap but good meal for family or friends.

Is Dawson Creek overtaxed?

You wanted a retention pond?

I see. I don't know if I'll get flayed on this board for doing my regular grocery shopping at the Neighborhood Wal Mart. It's very convenient for me, and I can't justify the cost of buying all my groceries at Fresh Market. But this Trader Joe's will be just as conveniently located and it sounds like it might be a good middle ground between the value groceries and nicer stuff I like to get on the weekends.

My gripe is EBR having a stormwater ordinance that is not enforced and officials pretty much completely ignoring the Clean Water Act. You are correct, the new site will pretty much maintain the existing discharge, but it's not about keeping it status quo, it should be about reducing runoff volume and increasing runoff water quality.

It blows my mind that people in this state celebrate our outdoors while polluting the very water systems they so celebrate.

Was told at my local TJ's last week they've stopped making the frozen chocolate chip cookie dough.
