In the Where to Eat: 25 Best series, we’re highlighting our favorite restaurants in cities across the United States. These lists will be updated as restaurants close and open, and as we find new gems to recommend. As always, we pay for all of our meals and don’t accept free items

You may as well just say Beetlejuice three times. You just hailed Autism Speaks for a disertation.

Oh my bad, you can bypass paywall sites on a mobile device if you have it in reader mode.

Thanks for the link.

It’s a good list. Happy to see Mawí Tortillas, love those guys and where I get many things including fresh blue tortillas.

I assume that on your list Saba and Saffron are the two different restaurants.

Mawi is awesome and deserves it imo.

The queen trini place being in there, on the other hand, is a total joke. The adoption of this place by the food literati as some sort of hidden gem is just bizarre.

There are some other head scratchers on there too. liuzza’s by the track is mediocre even for that genre of food.

Is Mosquito no longer in favor with the in crowd?

I like Mawi for what it is. The food is good but the experience is a zero. Not a bad place for Metairie but not top 25 Nola
