Well I went to the Popeyes in Anaheim and they aren't offering any specials. I guess it's a different store in Anaheim. Oh well still participating in this glorious national holiday.

$5.00 for a 4 piece in Cali isn't a special?

Just knocked out a 3 piece dark with greens and red beans from Chicken Shack. ‘‘Twas delicious as always.
Is the Chicken Shack running any specials? I mean, it's already cheap enough, tbh

Try brining it in pickle juice before frying. I’m sold.

Fried chicken is solidly #1 on my list of foods not worth making at home. The mess between the batter and the oil is a huge pain, frying smell stays for days, etc. It is a food that tons of places do very well, and it isn't expensive.
I drive past Delpit's Chicken Shack every single day on my way home.

I can’t believe people get full off of 2 pieces at Popeyes. The drums are barely bigger than a hot wing
I usually do a 4 piece mix for me but I’ve been know to do a family 6 pieces and large side with 3 biscuits. Fried chicken just never fills me up.

We recently discovered a local gas station (Citco on the corner of Springridge Road and McRaven Road) that has Chicken tenders of quality equal to the Pure Oil Station in DeKalb, MS.
Everyone knows what a fan I am of chicken fried at a gas station.
We stopped by there today and split a four piece tender basket with two potato logs on our way to buy a bushel of Butter Beans at the Freshway Produce stand on Old Canton Road.
Excellent chicken. I highly recommend it as a lunch stop, even for out of state folks headed eastbound or westbound on I-20.

Bless your heart. My hippie, daughter is as well. She moved to Oregon for awhile and got demented. She's back home now and I WILL wake her
I just don't understand why ya'll subject yourselves to that. You aren't saving the planet
They are making my granddaughters be vegetarian, against their will. Ages 6 and 3. Pisses me off. They come to our house and want meat. We don't give it to them for fear of reprisals from my daughter and son in law. Sucks! Ya'll are some strange mofo's, imo

Finding a honey hole of a gas station that does good fried chicken is a beautiful thing.
