I just called them
Which in itself is ridiculous we have to do that these days to find the prices
So true
My guess is that the basic cheeseburger is $11. My special burger must've been more? When looking at the price comparisons that NOFOX posted, this price point is 20% higher than District and Backyard. That's a significant difference. There's nothing about 3Bs that says they should be charging 20% more than those two.
Station6... don't get me started on them.
They are overpriced and not very good imo. We were highly disappointed when we ate there a few months back. We had a group of 6 and none of us thought it was worth it.
On the other hand, Sala is fantastic! Finally tried them out last week, and everyone loved it.
ETA: I tried Backyard when it first opened a few years back (my friends are friends with the owner, so we all went to support their opening). I was not impressed, but that totally could've been due to just opening and working out their kinks. The burger was very dry. I need to go check them out again.

There aint no such thing as cheap family dining anymore besides fast food or places like buds
Sure there is. You can get a burger and fries for $7 at Dot's Diner. You can get a boatload of great food for cheap out at the Westbank Flea Market. Pho Bang is good and cheap. Triangle Deli has good hot plates and poboys for cheap. Wags in Marrero is very good. A bunch of soul food and American chinese for cheap too. You just can't get cheap family dining in nice neighborhoods.

I haven't been to Atomic yet. Company is very good. May hit up Atomic this week at some point.

Company >>> Atomic
But getting downtown or to Freret is a pain. Backyard is better since opening and as LSU said, it is extremely easy with kids if that is a consideration.

They spent $3mil on the reno & when mondo closes they should really benefit. Burgers are pretty good are pretty fairly priced comparatively

Mondo has been one of our favorites as a family. Was always good food and nice friendly service, and consistent. It's a shame that it's spiraling, I assume as a result of the death trap that is Rosedale. Will be sad when doors close, but it appears it's heading that way.
It will benefit 3 B's when that happens, but I hope something Mondo-like moves into that spot. $3MM on a renovation with a whacky menu and no apparent direction seems silly.

Backyard is ok for food but like you said, it’s really the only place where the kids can run around without a problem.

I had the one with apricot chutney, brie and aioli
Just going to go out on a limb... do you think this is why you paid $13 instead of $9?
If you want a $9 burger go get a basic $9 burger. Or do you know of other places that are selling burgers with apricot chutney, Brie, and aioli for $9?
This isn’t rocket surgery. It’s a niche specialty burger place

I miss Harrison Avenue before Katrina when it wasn't so pretentious.

Lakeview Harbor, Steak Knife, and what was the place called that was in the Mondo spot? Started with a B IIRC.

Barecca's. Mona Lisa Pizza was where Reginelli's is at one point. Starbucks was Coffee and Company. There was a little poboy/hot plate shop by St, Dominics where Cava is now too that I can't recall the name at the moment.
Then there was Hong Kong and West End by the Lake. China Rose in the Canal Villere shopping center. Masson's was the fancy place way back around where Regions is now. Lenfant's was where the John Jay place is on canal.

Yessss Barreca's. Ty. We used to smoke the hell out of some Marlboro's as 15yos on the Coffee and Company porch.
