pork buns are absolute musts at momo

if they have the rice cakes with spicy sausage, ginger scallion noodles were pretty good as well

You mention Piero’s

I have been hearing for years that this place is a favorite of locals and celebrities but I have never been there because it is off the strip and is usually inconvenient for me to get to. Is it worth it?

I've never heard anyone complain about it till this thread.
For the record, my comment wasn't a complaint. Just thought it was underwhelming for the price and for the name attached to it. It might have been becuse my expectations were higher or because we had filet instead of the many better meat options on the menu.

It's worth noting that my wife's opinion of the meal is completely different from mine. She really enjoyed the experience.

We're doing Beer Park, Eataly, Din Tai Fung and GR Pub and Grill. I had to tone it down a bit since my son is coming with us. Lol. I still have never had Golden Steer. Always wanted to go.

Shoya Ramen is better than the mushroom Ramen?

Breakfast - Jardin (Wynn) or Mon Ami Gabi (Paris)

Lunch - Din Tai Fung (Aria)

Dinner - Lotus of Siam or Golden Steer (both off strip) or Best Friend (Park MGM)

Zaytinya was my favorite. I’ve tried Jaleo, Oyamel and Chilcano

I really enjoyed Javier's so I can recommend that. Haven't tried the others.

I would go off strip if you wanted sichuan style dumplings and noodles

Would recommend The Magic Noodle or Shang Artisan Noodle

Spicy wontons, Dan Dan noodles, etc. at both, can't go wrong

Last trip I ate at Oyamel and Jaleo and American Eats.
Then I'd recommend Zaytinya. If you're into Indian, Rasika is a can't miss when I visit. Not a J.Andres concept, but damn good food. Get the palak chaat, mint paratha, and tandoori lamb.

As others have stated Momofuku is fantastic.

Without a doubt, they have the best Pork Belly / Pork Shoulder Ramen on the planet.

Go for lunch...it is better (and way cheaper than dinner). They also do a Chef's tasting 4 course tasting menu for lunch under $50 - it is spectacular.

Was in Vegas Labor Day weekend for the first FSU loss.

Went to Bazaar and honestly, found it to be just fine. But certainly not worth the $600 price tag to sit in what felt like a basement.

After the terrible result on Sunday, the girlfriend helped console me with a visit to the Golden Steer. I had been before, but something about sitting in a nice booth in the old school establishment sipping a martini felt right.

Looking forward to a non steak option this go around. Thanks for some of the recs and info

I enjoyed it as well. Fresh made Bao and Dumplings are hard to beat.
