Not good for you at all, though it is a guilty pleasure of mine. But it seems like a chain in decline with more and more stores closing, probably because of how unhealthy it is and how the service is usually shite.

Arby’s is pretty good with the higher end sandwiches. The Reuben is legit.

I had a chicken cordon bleu sandwich the other day and they're still good. I liked the homestyle fries that they used to have much better than the curly fries.

The large roast beef with Arby’s sauce is the best fast food sandwich out there.

It should have so much Arby’s sauce that it makes a really big mess when you eat it.

Arby's is nasty.

In desperation at Mardi Gras, my wife and I got sandwiches there.

Never again.

This is worth a shot trying out:

TRADITIONAL GREEK GYRO
GYRO MEAT
TZATZIKI SAUCE
GYRO SEASONING
RED ONION
TOMATOES
SHREDDED ICEBERG LETTUCE
FLATBREAD
You don’t need to be Greek to enjoy Arby’s Greek gyro. You just need to like flame-seared, knife carved gyro meat, with crispy vegetables, creamy tzatziki sauce, and warm pita bread. You also need to be able to get to Arby’s. Apparently you can order a cab on your smartphone now, so that’s a solid option.?

One of my favorite fast food places. Love the plain roast beef sandwiches with Arby's sauce (like someone said, should make a big mess when you eat it) and some tater cakes.

I don't like Arbys because their roast beef is mystery meat. When was the last time you cooked a roast at home, sliced it, and the meat looks like Arbys beef? My guess is never. Back in the day, if you wanted a real roast beef sandwich, then Danvers was the place to go. Danvers roast was real beef. Arbys beef doesn't look like any beef I ever saw come out of the oven. You need to read the ingredients of Arbys roast. I know people on this board love Arbys but if I want real roast beef, then Arbys isn't for me.

I tried buying it in bulk from a store a few years ago. The manager said that they used to sell it but that they got strict instructions from headquarters to stop. Apparently, they were losing a lot of business to people buying the sauce and making their own sandwiches.

Meh, I don’t know if that is 100% true but it makes sense to me. That is certainly what I wanted it for.

lower end sandwiches are mediocre, but decent value
rueben and other market fresh sandwiches are fantastic for fast food
fries are legit in the top tier of best fastfood fries along with Popeyes and Jack n the Box
Those 2 for 6 gyros are way better than they have any business being

I'd eat at Arby's a lot more if they had more convenient locations. I used to eat at the one on Burbank a lot when I was a kid going to LSU Baseball games, but it was closed and turned into a Taco Bell while I was in college. I'd eat at the Jones Creek one occassionally as well, but it's closed too.

The only one left is the nasty one on Highway 415 in Port Allen that I used to eat at regularly when I worked out that way. It's not worth braving I-10 bridge traffic for.

That sucks. Of course there are all these recipe websites that claim to have a recipe for it, but it's never the same.
