Cheap bun, medium rare beef, slice of american cheese. It does not get any better. No "curated" stuff needed here.
There are a few good "gourmet" burgers out there but I enjoy a good plain burger all the time.

We actually live right up the hill from Litton's. Love their burgers, but their chargrilled chicken is also amazing.

Has anyone here had Hugo's in Fayetteville?
Burgers can be great everywhere but there are a few that hunger reminds me of.... Hugo's is one of those.

what I like about hamburgers is that they are very democratic
you can do all this and you’ll make a great burger
but so will some guy in some greedy spoon at 1/100th the cost and effort.
