Mabile's Meat Market in LaPlace has the best Roast Beef sandwich anywhere, hands down. So sloopy you will need a knife and fork.

Big Ol greasy home made hamburgers for the past 40 years. If in the parish seat of Red River Parish get a double meat hamburger.

Chicken Salad (over lettuce or as a croissant) at Pea Patch in Winnfield is some of the best i have ever eaten.

Im sure Joe's Dreyfus in Livonia is on here.

BBQ Shrimp at Papa's in Natchitoches is solid.

DC's in Brusly has a great burger
Benoit's in Brusly is my favorite beef jerky
And Bergeron's in Lobdell has got great boudin, pork rinds, and smoked meats.

My favorite ALL-TIME Po-Boy is the dressed Hamburger PB at Bears Restaurant in downtown Covington.(W.21st and Boston) They've opened a branch in Mandeville on N.Causeway but I've been in Houston/Pensacola since Katrina and haven't been able to try that location.........
