Never been to the Salad Shop but the Coffee Bean on Coursey makes some of the best salads in BR.

Coffee bean, subway or driving to whole foods was really the only salad options in that area.

quote:nope, she didn't close down. You may have passed during their holiday off time (week of Christmas, I believe). Definitely not closed though! I'll be in tomorrow for my usual
Did they close down? I feel like I saw this somewhere, and I noticed they weren't open when I passed at lunchtime the other day.

I had possibly the worst salad I've ever had in my life at the one on perkins and Acadian. They make BAD salads like, sub-McDonalds bad.
Avocado BLT or Caesar Crunch ftw
And there is almost always some eye candy in there around lunch.

I like a good salad bar. I found myself at what used to be Ryans just for this reason.

bump
Just hit the Salad Shop on Coursey for the first time. Pretty impressed with the portion size, quality and options. it wasn't cheap but nothing is these days plus you do get a large arse salad. I will be back.

I think the best thing they do is chop it up really good with those double bladed pizza cutters. It makes mince meat out of all the stuff and makes it really pleasant to eat.
