Probably back to usual after you use your $400 worth of coupons.

off menu specials are normally higher than menu prices in must upscale establishments

Sure they may be higher but we are talking about simple fish dishes that cost 1.5 times the most expensive items on the menu.
The specials are priced anywhere from 1.5 to 4x the cost of other entrees on the menu. That is FAR from normal. People simply dont think when they go to a restaurant in BR to be served a 50-60 entree as a special. Sure if the server noted the cost that would be fine. You normally dont have to if the specials are somewhat in line with the higher menu prices. Its a flaw at LV.

I ate there last night (Airline Location). In and out in an hour. So I guess you can say the service was fast. I had the Ribeye ($34) and wife had Seafood Pasta ($23) half loaf of Village bread, Salads, Beer and used the coupon. Good experience and the place was getting pretty packed by 6:45 (Friday Night). So who knows, Maybe they've stepped up their service.

Will be going to the downtown location with my BargainBee. Wish me the best of luck!
This will be my first time in the new building.

I fully understand how petty it is to "hate" a restaurant worker, but I hate the woman that manages that place. One example: A woman at my office was leaving for greener pastures and the other gals of the office took her for a last lunch at LV. I tried to call and have desserts sent to the table and that manager wouldn't let me pay by credit card over the phone. Which is just stupid - they use Digital Dining and could have done it easily.
That attitude, and the ensuing boycott, has cost them tens of my dollars. Which really only hurts me, because I like the food.

Sounds like it may be their policy to not take phone order for a CC that they cannot verify cardholder.. Dont know why anyone would get bent out of shape over that. Maybe they got burned on that before.

I can understand that but I told her the situation, described the 4 middle-aged women at the table, and said that I'd come in after they left if I needed to sign a receipt (our building is 3 blocks away). She was having none of it. Over a couple of desserts. It was very obvious that her concern wasn't the potential for fraud, but having to do anything above-and-beyond.

In a world where there are no crooks thats fine.. However there is nothing that says your are using a card that isnt stolen and you will actually come in as promised.
I can see why it would upset you but I can also see why they would protect themselves in that situation.

In this scenario the worst that could have happened is they give away two free desserts to some ladies who love desserts. If I asked to send over a bottle of Dom, maybe I understand their hesitation.
When my friends took a honeymoon to Chicago I found out they were going to the Signature Room for dinner. I called the restaurant and was able to pay for their meal over the phone so it's not unheard of.
