Easily one of Lafayette’s greatest contributions to society, the last known Popeyes buffet in the country is in jeopardy of succumbing to the COVID-19 pandemic - never to serve an unlimited amount of chicken, biscuits, or mashed potatoes again.

It may truly be the end of an era.

I’ve never been but have always been intrigued. I’ll donate to keep this thing open. Time to start a GFM

Just pull the plug on Lafayette. It’s dead now.

The Morgan City location had one when I was in high school. During those years me and my friends had been asked to leave a Ryan’s and a Chinese buffet, but never the Popeyes buffet

If true, this would be a true loss to mankind. Also one of the last Popeyes I’m aware of where I could still get chicken livers (GOAT)

We used to hit the one up in I think it was Cut Off maybe at the edge of a strip mall. Never will forget when the manager told my dad they refused to put out more fried chicken until we left. We surf fished all weekend in GI and all of us kids could easily put down 3-4 chickens a piece.
