My favorite boudin. To hell with Best Stop and waiting in line at Billy’s when Johnson’s is available.

Johnson's and T-Boys are my two favorites, and the common trait is that they don't let up on the red pepper. Boudin is supposed to be fiery. There are too many pale, wan imitations of boudin out there these days.

I’ll disagree with it’s supposed to be “fiery”. Johnson’s has good heat without taking away from the actual flavor of the product.

I don't agree with this at all. Spicy yes but fiery? Negative.

Need to hit this joint up next time I visit my dad... didn’t know about it, but I haven’t been in the area for almost 15 years now.

The three boudin shops in Scott seems to be catering to the tourist, which I don’t blame them. Easy money to be made.

Johnson’s, Nunus, Chops and Lagneaux Meat Market are mire to my liking.

I remember when one of the proprietors would post here under the business's name.
