Is the best sandwich in Baton Rouge, and it’s not particularly close.
They’re very good carry out, but eating it hot in the store is next level.

The Deli Special is just like the muff, but with added lettuce and tomato.
It's delicious, but I prefer the regular muff.

I'm a big fan of the Cheese Lover too. 4 different cheeses and slices of tomato.

Do they actually put meat and cheese on it? Their muff is lacking in that department.

Love it - I do order with no lettuce always gets to soggy when heated up

If Anthony’s would stay open just a couple of hours later for dinner I would eat there frequently.

It’s not a ton of meat, but I think the balance is correct. I’m not eating it thinking the meat is lacking.

I like their muff -- think it has carrots? It's not NO level but it's def good and a nice change w/o the drive and parking to get one in the big city.

This sandwich alone created the bridge for me liking raw onions.

I’m not sure if the bread the use for the lover is the same as the deli special. It’s definitely different shape, might be some seeds on the round(deli special) that aren’t on the lover.
But it’s essentially the same sandwich.

Bump
Improved on the deli special by adding marinated peppers.
Little extra flavor, little extra texture
So good
