Fun place. Great place to go before the games. The food good for a sports bar but not a gourmet restaurant.

The Parrain's BBQ Drum is one of the best fish entrees around and at a decent price. It will be on the menu at the Fairhope location, which will not be named Chimes or Parrain's BTW. The menu will be a combo of the most popular items from the Chimes/Parrain's menus.
Well I live in Daphne by the middle school off Whispering Pines so a 15 minute drive to eat that BBQ Drum will be such a treat. I truly love that dish.

Any updates on this ?
"Renovations underway for over a year now are nearing completion and staff is now being hired for a new Cajun seafood restaurant called 'Kingfisher Seafood Restaurant' at 805 S. Mobile Street, where Wintzell's once operated for many years.
Tyler Hood, one of the owners of the 'Chimes' chain of restaurants in Louisiana, purchased the property in 2021 -- but then had to deal with lingering Covid19 pandemic issues before renovations could begin last year.
General Manager Megan Aucoin says it will be casual/family type dining with other than seafood offered (wings, sandwiches, etc.); 54 taps for wine and beer are being installed too, she said. No specific opening date has been set yet."

You think the owner of Chimes could actually worry about the actual local Chimes first? Specifically Chimes East.
And if you know or are the owner, could you please pass a mop on the floors, clean the tables, and fix the bathrooms?
