I remember reading something about the owners having a dispute and closing the doors. Is this place still open?

What are other joints with a great oyster happy hour other than Superior Seafood?

New folks have taken over. It’s still a dump.

That place sucks.

Went once with some work buddy’s, cause “you had to go there” according to him. Top 5 worst experiences in a restaurant.

Watched a World Sries game there in October 2015, loved it, great Oysters and boile d shrimp. Sit at the bar as service looked slow.,had many parish brews on tap very cold.
Went back two times, .25 cent salty oysters can't beat it. Had two dozen raw one dozen charbroiled plus a pound of shrimp and 6-7 Beers? $65 plus tip!!

Lol I’m just looking for a cheap place to grab oysters. How are their charbroiled?

They serve the grittiest oysters I've ever eaten in my entire life. Avoid that place like the plague.

Go to Delmonico for $0.99 charbroiled or Superior for $0.50 raw.

I don't thinks its back open, unless it happened in the past week or two? Otherwise its been closed at least 6 months now.

Great location, poor ownership/management, and the building might need a full renovation now.

I went there in april a year ago.... Sat outside. It was pleasant. Oysters were fine. Drinks were good. I didn't even go inside.

Walked by the other day heading to sushi brothers and there’s a sign outside saying that they were closed for renovations. Doesn’t look like anything is going on inside though.

Sounds like they’re out of business. I’ll be staying right in that area for a weekend this October and was hoping to have some cheap oysters within walking distance.
