Have some relatives in town from Arizona and two of them are adults that are frustratingly picky eaters, but I probably wouldn't shy away from anything because of them.

Trying to think of spots that may also have outside seating but not necessary.

I did see that Peche, Toups, Atchafalaya, and Shaya all have availability today.

Thoughts from anyone, doesn't necessarily have to be a place that requires ressies.

Broussards in the FQ has a nice courtyard and great food options.

Broussard's is closed on Mondays, as are a ton of places unfortunately.

I do love both Broussard's and Brennan's courtyards.

Do you have more of a description of what you mean by being picky? Certain types of foods?

Really hesitant to eat a lot of seafood. Mother and early 20's daughter. Mother is fine with just hanging out and won't eat or will try to find something, daughter can be talked into most things.

I would venture to guess that anything "weird" will get an askance look. Pretty much only eat mexican food and pizza and so on.

Maybe a place with a large menu would be a good option. I know many people don't love Mandina's, but it serves a good purpose when you need variety. I like the atmosphere because it's old school neighborhood.

Katie's?

Absolutely don't like it at all, it sucks in my opinion.

Katie's is a good idea in the same vein (although my wife doesn't like Katie's )

I'll never understand grown arse adults that are picky eaters. Dietary issues is one thing, but to not be able to bend and try something is stupid.

Take them to a fricking cheesecake factory or Applebee's. Jesus.

Yeah I don't understand it either. They grew up in El Paso and Arizona and are half Mexican so they pretty much only eat Mexican food and "normal" stuff like Pizza and burgers.

The rest of the family is fine and love coming in town and eating seafood, but these two are difficult.

Wow, that is picky.
As a former picky eater myself I will say push them out of their comfort zone.
