Tell me where to go for Sunday lunch in Lafayette....bonus points if it’s out toward Maurice.

Legends South, grab a burger and a beer.

It is a “spiced” patty though, so if you don’t like that then you might not want to go there.

Why is every post in this thread downvoted?

Are there no places to eat lunch in Lafayette?

Fail. Closed on Sundays.

For those who spoke of Blu Basil, check out the real deal Vietnamese at Zen just down the road on Amb Caff.

Rouses on Johnston has tables inside and outside if you want to grab some crawfish, a sandwich, BBQ, etc., but if you're really craving BBQ, Dwights is your answer.

This one was an easy down vote. Blu Basil is not open on Sundays.

Not going until next weekend....trying not to end up at a chain, pizza place, etc. I expected a longer list—or is Laffy not a Sunday-eating-out town?

I ate brunch/lunch for the first time in Lafayette last weekend. I went through a bunch of old threads, and I was lead to a place called The French Press.

It was amazing. Would recommend.

I went to Bon Temps for lunch over the weekend and ordered their BBQ Burger. Would have never thought to order a burger there, but friend recommended it. Was amazing, so that's my recommendation.

Most of these places (the good ones) are not open on Sundays.

As someone earlier mentioned, French Press is pretty damn good. Their service is slow as shite, but the food doesnt disappoint

Blue Dog and Social are good Sunday spots as well

If you need Maurice, you may be out of luck on a Sunday. Legends South is probably your closest bet

I forgot about Bon Temps. I've always had good food there. Social is a solid suggestion, and Ruffino's is an option too.

I deserve forgiveness. I’ve never heard of any Asian restaurant not open 7 days a week.
