Another vote for Chophouse. Crab soup and service is impeccable.

Dickie Brennons gets a ton of hate on here, but I've never had a bad meal there.

The steak was great and wine menu is fantastic

I'm not saying it's the best steak in the city, but I don't think it sucks like most on here do.

I rarely see any hate for it and know of nobody who thinks it sucks. I just like the other places better

This. There's nothing wrong with it at all, it's just a place a lot of tourists know by name and locals know there are a few better options in the city.

Just because a hand full of places are extremely good doesn't mean another isn't very good as well.

My last visit to DB's was very nice. Exceeded my expectations. I had been there a couple of times prior and it was average.

I was treated to Morton's a couple years ago. It was a very pleasant steakhouse experience. Food and service was excellent.

I have not had the opportunity to eat at Chophouse yet....but everyone I know that has eaten there gives it very, very high reviews.

I would say Doris if money is no object. Then chop house is an excellent second. la boca is a wild card not traditional. Desi Vega's is right next door. They have great steaks and atmosphere.
