Sorry if this has been recently asked.
Was looking for Cut-Co, but no where to be found.
Any recs on similar brands, a nice steak seems
tough if I don't use a filet knife.
TIA

I like Japanese steak knives. They keep their sharp edge longer.

Pricey but Shun knives are awesome.
My wife bought a set for Christmas and then I added the steak knives later a few weeks later. Very nice.

Wusthof makes some great steak knife sets. I bought a set about three years ago and I absolutely love them.

I got these Henckels a few years ago

for $40 they're solid as hell. i wanted something good quality (great was not necessary) that was simple in design. had them for about 3.5 years with no issues

i will say that i hand wash my dishes and some people apparently have problems with these being put in the dishwasher. but if you're going to buy steak knives and spend real money, you shouldn't be putting them in a dishwasher regardless

10 plus years ago we bought a set of 8 steak knives at Morton's because we liked them so much.
As I recall, they were relatively inexpensive.
