Steak Fajitas. Do you marinade them or not? If so what marinade recipe do you use?

That’s is maybe my favorite store bought marinade.

Fantastic in Chicken too.

For steaks I wither Go with a dry rub of chili powder, garlic powder, cumin, black pepper and salt or a marinade of Vegetable oil, lime juice, cumin, crushed garlic, S&P

They both come out pretty well. Depends on if I have time.

I do a variation of the second marinade sammytiger listed. Perfect for fajitas or tacos.

If flank or skirt, it's a must. I use whatever I can find. Stubbs beef or that bag you can get from Walmart.

I usually go with a simple carne asada marinade.

1/2 cup soy sauce
Juice from one orange and one lime
A few cloves of garlic minced
One jalapeno minced
1 tbsp cumin
Half a bunch of cilantro
S&P

Let it sit for anywhere from 30 minutes to a few hours.

Did a quick 20 minutes quick marinade with this one last week on a flat iron steak. Basted the steak with extra sauce as it grilled. Came out phenominal!

Yes. And after having tried a million and one ways to make steak fajitas, this recipe from Serious Eats consistently comes out perfect each and every time. Very highly recommend giving this a shot.

Add some pineapple juice to your marinade. The enzymes in it will help tenderize the beef. Powdered meat tenderizers are made from enzymes derived from papaya and pineapple.

Lots of Lime juice, soy sauce, cumin, chili powder. Mix together with mayo. Yes, Mayo, secret from Lupe Tortilla in Houston.

I just buy that prepackaged strip steak at Costco to grill. Can't remember the name of it, starts with an 'A'. Tastes amazing. I think they put crack in it.

No.

Kosher Salt, Cracked Black, Garlic, Cumin, Accent (MSG). Grill over mesquite, lime juice when it comes off. Slice across the grain.

this is so good on chicken. I don't buy anything else with HFCS. I think this may have crack in it also.
