Headed to St. Louis in a few days. Open to any type and style of food suggestions. As well as any good bars. TIA

The Hill area for old school Italian. Charlie Gittos is a good one.

Cunetto’s is another in that same part of town. I used to go there when in town for work. It was solid.

Sugar fire smokehouse and the Shaved Duck are both good for smoked meats.

There are 2 of these. I wend to the one that was close to the stadium and it was my favorite of all of the places i visited while in St Louis.

Sugar fire ( on Washington) is really good. I wouldnt be down there past dark unless you are strapped . Pharaoh's donuts are really good. The Roster is a cool breakfast spot. The bar on roof of Last Hotel is a nice view .

Charlie Gitto's (on the Hill)
Pappy's BBQ

Lots of other options (American/ethnic options) 10-15 minutes away in the Soulard, Lafayette Square, South Grand, Delmar Loop, & Cherokee Street neighborhoods.

For your own safety, don't go any further north of the stadium other than going to Crown Candy for lunch.
