The Hill. Zia's or Charlie Gitto's are good.

Mama's used to be very good but it's not as good as it used to be.

Head over to Milo's for a brew and some bocce ball.

Yeah ignore that. As long as you don't go north or east, it's a lot of fun.

Also get frozen custard from Ted Drewes.

ETA: be aware of the amount of Church's Chicken places...if you see a few, just turn around.

they don't add yeast to the pizza dough so it does not rise. cracker thin, dense, crust.

Sugarfire Smokehouse - BBQ, get the mud pie milkshake, its excellent

Pi Pizzeria is good if you like deep dish pizza, but the pizzas are on the smaller side so I would order 2 if there are multiple people

Friends and Suwallers are good but they are on the western side of the metro area

Second for Charlie Gitto’s on the Hill. Very good, old school Italian.

Broadway Oyster Bar. Go to Venice Cafe after dark for some beers. Cash only but an awesome place!

If you're staying downtown or midtown;

Charlie Gitto's
Gioia's Deli for a hot salami sandwich
Pappy's for BBQ
Ted Drew's for frozen custard

If out in the burbs. Let us know what area and we'll hook you up.
