If you care for a beer that tastes like wine, I've found the one. IMO this is the worst beer I've ever drank.

I can deal with hoppy, bitter or even light beers. IMO, it may be the worst. It tastes like you're drinking beer grape juice.

I will say this, it packs a punch. 11-12% ABV. It's sold in 6 packs for $15. They still have some at Matherne's on Bluebonnet if you want to try.

Brewed out of Texas in small single batches. Can be hard to locate.

Not my beer of choice but I heard people fight over it.

It's a different beer I hear on tap vs. bottle.

Its a belgian quad, it tastes exactly like its supposed to. Its a very good beer if you like belgian quads.

Belgian Quads aren't for everyone. Tend to be sweeter fruit flavor, along the lines of some wines I guess.

I thought DR13 was pretty right on for an American interpretation.

If you want to give away your other 5 I can help with that.

Then I'm back on board, I like my quads but have never described them as tasting like wine.

My sister came over. Drank two and got hammered. There are two left.

It tastes like carbonated wine. It may supposed to taste like that but that's what it is.

Also, I never judge a beer based off the first one. There must be at least two beers consumed to confirm.

They'll keep for a long time so don't toss them out. Would make a great gift for someone who like Belgians/Tappists/Tripel, they'd appreciate it.

It's sweet, and in my opinion, a bit thin for a quad, but I can't think of anyone comparing it to wine.

It's a solid brew, but I'll take an Urthel Quad over it any day.

I can see someone that isn't expecting the fruit "sweetness" to think it was wine like. Especially compared possibly to a port.

How is it compared to SN Ovila? That's the only Quad I've had.

Not sure I ever had a Ovila Quad, if I have then I can't tell you a direct comparison.

I didn't hate it, didn't love it either. I need to get ahold of a Rochefort 10 so I'll have a point of comparison for other Quads.

You preface your post with this and then proceed to give your opinion on one of the more complex beer styles out there.
C'mon man, you're in over your head. Stick to the Natty and it'll all be OK.

Everyone I know who likes quads said it is very good. Much better feedback from 13 than 12.

I don't like Belgians so I haven't tried it.

I have two ill be putting in the mail for you this week
