Spinoff...."farm to table" vs "sustainable"...Which One Is More Bullshite?

Both are bullshite marketing concepts, to some degree. Which has a higher bullshite value to you and why?

Good question.
I like to think that if a restaurant is advertising sustainable, they are really looking into it, but I have my doubts.
Farm to Table implies local, in season ingredients. I can see that as being a scam too.

Sustainable is only seafood restaurants right?
I don't know if there are any true "farm to table" restaurants in LA. I consider "farm to table" restaurants to have their own farm and either be located on the farm, or nearby.

Farm to table is great as long as it's not just marketing BS. Don't put out of season shite on your menu and claim to be "farm to table"....that phrase does not imply a stop at airport customs to most purchasers. And don't serve dishes with 17 imported ingredients and then credit 1 of those ingredients to a local farmer...
