I bought a damned delicious, huge Dole pineapple for $2.19 a week ago. So no, I wouldn't pay $20 for a fruit simply because it is pink.

I did buy a basket of Driskill's "rose" strawberries (a white strawberry) at Central Market bc they looked cool, but they only cost $1 more than the red strawberries.

So you sell 3 cases per week?

I would not pay $20 for a pineapple

Is this so called 'pink glow pineapple' an actual fruit, or is it some kind of narcotic or deviant sex 'move'? Because it sounds like a narcotic or deviant sex 'move' at that price. Either way, I'm not a buyer, though I am intrigued to learn more.

Could it be a bar or restaurant buying? Seems like it’s perfect for a high dollar cocktail.

After googling the fruit, it does not look good. The color is very off putting. It is almost like I would feel like I was eating raw chicken flesh.

My daughter put one in the buggy while we were shopping. Got to the register, checked out, noticed the bill was a little off. Turns out the damn pink pineapple was $17.99. She didnt even eat the damn thing, and get this it tasted just like a pineapple.

I pay $50 for sugarloaf pineapple shipped from Kauai. I have had many pineapples, including pink glow and nothing compares. They take 18 months to harvest and the core is edible and almost as soft as the outside. It has zero acidic quality that a regular pineapple leaves in your mouth after eating a good sized portion. Just sweet, and juicy goodness that you can’t stop eating. You can get a 3 pack for about $150 shipped but you have to order far in advance because they are in high demand. I usually order in June and hope to have by Christmas to give as presents.
