I just went beer shopping and the place had 2 boxes of pumpking, i almost bought one. Looks like i'll be able to get it in the fall. This is WAY better than new belgium coming here imo. Now we need the long rumored lagunitas to get here.

I was not impressed with Pumking one bit...
Of course it was right after i had drank
a 4 month aged Pumkinator at 55 degrees F.

Mother of God that is delicious.

ETA: Really looking forward to trying their 2XIPA, Chocolat, and Pumking. Hopefully it's sooner rather than later.

I've got one in my fridge and 2 in my beer fermenting fridge aging. Temps around 65 in that fridge.

I think I still have 5-6 2012 Pumpkinators cellaring, and another from 2011.

I have a 2012 Pumpking as well, if anyone wants to try it.

Been tempted to pop it open since I never had one but figure it's best if I want til the fall. LSU/Bama 13'

Same here I'm pretty sure. I could drink a pumpkinator tonight but for some reason the pumpking ONLY works for me during the fall.

I may have to try choklat. I always see it but don't want to pay 7 bucks for a bomber since its not really my favorite style of beer.

Don't know this beer, it's pretty solid?

Yes they have many good beers. Drank it pretty often when I lived up north.

I'm not sure in what capacity they've have it. I'm guessing bombers to start out. ?

Pumpkinator>All other Pumpkin beers but Pumking and La Parcela are in my top 3

eta: that New Belgium Lips of Faith pumpkin beer from a year or two back was also fantastic.

Southern Tier is overall a mo' bettah brewery, but if the La Folie makes it down here, I'll take the rest of their mediocre stuff. If Southern tier brings the creme brulee and chokolat, I'll will be a very happy man.

Good news. It will. From Avenue Pub:

quote:

Bottles only till the end of may ...but OH! what bottles:
Lips of Faith- la Folie
Lips of Faith-Cascara Quad
Lips fo Faith Heavenly Feijoa ( Dieu de Ciel collaboration)
and of course: Fat tire, Sunshine Wheat, Trippel, Ranger IPA & Shift Pale ale

However, Avenue pub getting it and Lake Charles getting it are two different things.
