Has anyone seen a propane burner like this? It uses two propane tanks, one with propane and one empty. It does not make the loud noise that most jet burners make. Saw this in a store but thought was a little pricey. Any one out there that might know how to piece one together? See link for picture.

I guess my question is...why? Are you boiling seafood behind enemy lines?

Looks like a shower head burner in the photo.

Why you in a hurry? Why you wanna be hush hush?

Keeps the neighbors from crashing the boil or turkey fry is my guess.

Personally, I like the roar of the propane burner when cranked up to get things started. Walk away from the pot to hold your intimate conversations if you don't want to yell over the noise.

I love that sound. My mouth begins to water because good food usually comes with that sound

I like my guests to be able to have a conversation.

I highly recommend this: Bayou Classic KAB6 Banjo Burner Plus

Me too

That’s why I have a yard bigger than 10x10.....

Geez people. Just sit and talk 10 yards from the pot and it’s fine

My Gourmet Kitchen single sack boiler is loud as frick, but I love it. During my military days when a fighter jet roared overhead, we said that was the sound of freedom. I’m not comparing the two, but I love both sounds.

I don't work for them. Just wondering if anyone has seen one like this.

You got it all wrong bud. The purpose of the sound is to discourage conversation which detracts from beer consumption.

Have fun cutting finger sandwiches and wrapping dates in bacon.
