Was in BR last weekend and stopped in. Thought it was pretty good as far as fast food goes. Freshly made and reasonably priced. Hope they open one on the Northshore.

This. Had it once and that was sufficient. My kids like it, though. My kids, however, basically only eat pizza, burgers, macaroni and cheese, and chicken tenders. That pretty much sums Smalls’ sliders up.

I actually really like smalls. It’s a tad expensive but burgers are good imo. Just noticed they’re building one on Siegen in BR

Hadn't had Smalls in probably a year. Stopped at the original the other day on the way to work and I didn't even make it through one slider. Everything went in the trash. Used to enjoy going when they opened as it was nothing special but it was consistently good.

We had it once right after it opened in Shreveport. Super greasy buns, taste was ok, fries were pretty good. There are definitely other burgers I’d rather have.

It’s the same exact sliders from Walk-ons menu. Go figure

You do realize the first one (or one of the first ones) is in Slidell, right?

I see Drew Brees’s media staff has arrived to the thread.

I don't get the hate either. It decent to me for fast food. Not something I'd eat regularly, but not bad.

Great hangover option IMO.

My wife and I will split the 3 or 4 slider option and be plenty full

Horrible in my opinion, over priced grease bombs at my local one.

Pretty soon Smalls is gonna have that ugly looking thing everywhere and when it goes belly up then what?
They will leave a mess to clean up because nothing else will work in those crates

I would rather get a regular mcdonalds hamburger then those sliders that aren't very good

Nothing else will really "work" in most existing brick and mortar fast food franchise buildings. I mean, in the situations where people will come in and try to retrofit something different into such places, it just generally looks completely awful.

At least with what Smalls is doing, it seems like it would be rather easy to dismantle and haul away the whole deal, if and when they go belly up.

Aren't most of them just sort of plopped down into existing parking lots anyway?
