I love trying out new places and I love hamburgers, so I couldn't wait to try this "new" place when passing through Thibodaux a few weeks back.
The staff were friendly, the wait was comparable to other fast food establishments, and the food was okay. I will not bash them for anything but the food was just, okay. I didn't get that "wow" feeling. That "I gotta go back to this place" feeling. Actually, I will say that the sliders at Chili's were better tasting, but taste can be so subjective.
So I can understand how the "newness" has probably worn off and it's just another option among a sea of fast food joints.

Tried it once. Very overpriced for what it is.

I’ve eaten at the one on Nicholson with my son and grandson a few times before lsu games. The grandson likes it, but I agree. Pretty average for what it is. Everything nowadays is expensive, so I’m not going to knock them for that, but I don’t really crave sliders. Just give me a regular burger. I also don’t care for their waffle fries. They’ve always been soggy tasting.

Overall, our city’s food scene is greatly lacking.

I really like their sliders, they are top notch of you get double meat. I really with they had ketchup/mayo/mustard and they do seem to have issues getting orders out quickly.

I've never been but how is this any more expensive than most other fast food joints?

That is because the fatties among us will order the number 4 with double patties and add bacon. Double patties cost 1.10 each slider and 99 cents each slider for bacon.

Making that number 4 cost 23.84 plus tax.

they have 40 more restauratns coming to LA, MS and TX. They have an equity investment from 10 points capital who helps fund other shitty concepts like slim chickens

Was thinking about this the other day. I crave some tastee burgers every now and then. But that’s not Tastee’s sole revenue.

They are about to build one by me. I can see it not lasting long. I can go to Joe's cafe and get 3 mini burgers, fries, drink and a Donut for 8.49. I miss tasty donuts.

Better than Krystal?

I'll have you know, Krystal is the absolute Pinochle of Slider Burgers!

I’m the opposite. Love sliders. But I’m a bread gal.

I think Smalls is great and never found it overpriced. I buy the 25-packs for parties sometimes. They always get devoured.

Right. The donut places don’t solely rely on the mini burgers I wouldn’t think.

There is almost too many locations at that intersection. I counted Chick-fil-A, Arby’s, McDonald’s, Panda Express, Taco Bell, Cane’s, Salad Express, Race Trak, Brothers, Sakura Express, and now Small Sliders.

Still can’t beat Houma’s Chicken Strip on Grand Caillou. You have Canes, Chick-fil-a, Popeyes, Danny’s, Wendy’s, Taco Bell, and a bit further Burger King, Sonic, and McDonalds.

I went there once. I thought it was pretty good. I got 4 sliders, fries and a drink and it filled me up. Next time I go, I’m getting three. Those sliders are a lot bigger than Krystal/White Castle/Tastee

Burger king used to be there where Panda is. Now you have to go don by the tracks to get Burger King. Best Whopper in town.

Get the 2 slider combo with an extra patties (Biggie). Plenty filling.

It’s almost like a Ponzi Scheme and the only people benefiting is corporate Smalls. They open one blow it out the water for a month, collect massive royalties then the franchisee suffers after the fad/newness wares off, recycle repeat for corporate when another one opens thirty days later.
