haven't had kanomwan yet, but i've had the one at thai spice express on bellaire and it's decent and spicy as frick.

Just like SVP's soliloquy on his experience in Tiger Stadium when Bama came to town, I feel the same way about Kanomwan when people talk about other Thai restaurants. Until you go here, you will never understand...can't put into words the symphony of culinary explosions that happen in my mouth with every bite of food.

Beautiful presentation. I make Tom Kha Gai, but I've never used curry paste in it. Unfortunately, I can't find my recipe. Last time I used some random recipe I found that seemed almost like it.
Gris, sometimes I see "Tom Kha Gai with Shrimp" but Google says it would be Tom Kha Goong.

I've had what's called Tom Yum Goong that's shrimp, I believe. Good stuff.
