Shiner us probably 2nd most important beer in the world next to sapporo

Seems to me the extra messages and sermons that come with Courthouse brews make their beers the most important in the world.

I used to get outraged at fosters commercials "australian for beer"

that shot is made in Canada under Molson (at least it used to be, no idea if it still is)

Where they're brewed is only a part of their label. Whether or not it is considered a "Domestic" by the industry is how much is produced. That's why Yuengling, Shiner, etc. aren't considered Domestic beers.

ETA: Yuengling actually keeps their production under the threshold intentionally - specifically to avoid being labeled a "domestic."

Places still listing craft as "imports" generally don't deserve my business.

I was with a group dining in a small restaurant in Belgium. We had been there for weeks so we had tried most of the local beers. The waiter said that they had imported beers too and he let us look at the refrigerator behind the bar to see what they had. Sitting there all by itself was a single Dixie longneck.
