I had a payday bar for the first time in years yesterday and it was delightful. Don't know why I even grabbed it, but glad I did.

I've also been on a kick of mixing dark chocolate covered almonds with dried cranberries about once a week.

Clearly my snacky snacks are responses to my occasional sweet tooth.

Oil in skillet. Get real hot

Toss in a simple corn tortilla. Crisp one side, flip then add cheese and toppings.

For the freaking win and 6yo approved

Eta: haha who down votes this?

After decades of hating chocolate-covered raisins, I received a bag of dark chocolate Raisinets in a grocery delivery by mistake. Ate them because they were free, but now my 13 year old and I are totally addicted. But ONLY dark chocolate.

make a great bowl of potato salad and prefer it to be creamy as opposed to that lumpy crap with tasteless chunks of potatoes

Potatoes are tasteless whether chunked or creamed. It's the seasoning or "salad" that makes them good.

Well, no shite Sherlock, that is why I make mine creamier.

Chunks are basically tasteless except for what's coating them. Creamy potato salad is more blended so the overall flavor is much better.

Do you use the head to make it or pork shoulder like so many people do now?

I called a butcher shop in Mansura/Marksville area and they told me they'd sell me hog heads for $3 each and I was going to pick up a couple the next time I'm up that way to make my own head cheese.

The first time I had them, I liked but didn’t love them. They changed something though, and I now find them delicious!

I bought a bag of miss Vickie’s spicy dill pickle chips the size of a small child yesterday at Costco yesterday and I doubt they’ll last through the weekend
