What value do these seeds bring to a bun?

At McDowell’s the Big Mc has no seeds.

They're fun to flick around and get in your lap while driving

Sesame seeds are fine. Poppy seeds are fine. You can’t beat caraway seeds and kosher salt on a Weck roll. Those rule.

The Poboy Express serves a burger bun that is covered with them top and bottom. Frick them and their "Market Price."
