This evening I cooked a delicious Shrimp Creole while enjoying a few cold beer.

Buttery corn, smoked boudin and garlic Texas Toast to round out the meal.

Nate, I always appreciate your cooking 'show and tell' posts on here. Keeps the place interesting. My favorite recipe is the one from The Plantation Cookbook.

BTW, that looks fantastic!

That looks wonderful. I’d love to try some over a nice grilled redfish. The little C’est Bon in Mermentau has a creole that looks similar and I absolutely love it like that.

Thanks!
I don't have The Plantation Cookbook but I did look it up on the Internet Archive and that looks like a tasty recipe. This one I used is from Frank Davis' Seafood Notebook.

For those interested, it's in the F&DB recipe collection.

I like how you used the med shrimp, the old folks always said they had the best flavor and they were right. Years ago Pats Of Henderson did a “camp style” shrimp creole and the onion, celery and bell pepper were cut in larger pieces. One of the families favorite dishes.
