I am in outside sales as well, my move if i am not in office is to bring muscle milk and banana in the car. That usually can hold me over for lunch.

my problem is grabbing gas station tacos or taco trucks. There is a place near by that has these brisket tacos that are so damn good.

Yea on the meat and cheese. Lost 28lbs last fall doing an Atkins type diet.

I can't recall the brand, but at Kroger near me they sell cheese wraps, you could do that as well if you want to cut out carbs or do a day without bread.

And yes to whoever said chicken salad.

Spread one of those 100 calorie small guacamole containers on your sandwich or tortilla to change things up.

Go on Amazon and buy a food warmer that plugs into you vehicle. They are $30-$40. I’m in the same boat. Work 90% of the time out of my truck and got tired of sandwiches. Now I can take leftovers and heat it up in my truck. Has been a game changer for me.

Get some cheese sticks and wrap them in salami or another similar cold cut. You can even by them pre-packaged. I’ll take some of them and fruit or another side for lunch sometimes.

Go to a well stocked deli counter, Rouse's usually has one, lots of meat and cheese to choose from. I like egg salad with variations, add grated cheddar, black olive sliced, chopped ham, tuna, dill relish anything you like.

Try other than sliced sandwich bread, rye, French, buns, whatever. I am a sandwich lover, but I have toi stay low carb, I envy you.

I like Lenders Onion Bagels toasted for sanwiches - holds up great in the boat too.
Find them in the cooler at most Walmarts.

Ditch regular bread for Rye, Marbled Rye, or Bauenbrot. Weak arse bread our kids eat doesn't stand up to moisture, and is just a substitute for napkins.

Next, keep your ingredients separate in your cooler until you're ready to eat. Assemble when ready to eat. You can't put avocado, mayo, hummus, or almost anything but meat on any kid of bread and have it keep for more than 2 or 3 hours without turning even toasted bread to mush.

I heard that you can now make PB&J yourself and it doesn't need to be refrigerated. I know, sounds crazy.
