That’s just bad arse. Will save the old owners so many lawsuits and withholding tax IRS issues. Plus the employees will get taken care of which is amazing. They more than likely would never see that money. Huge move and I wish them the best!

He’s buying the name for the amount of back wages. Don’t be fooled. Yes, it is nice as he could always not do this. But this is a deal worked out so he can use the sammys name and logo and even recipes.

It’s a brand that’s been beloved in BR for decades. Yes, it has value. I wonder if the restaurant equipment is included in this deal? My guess, and it’s only a guess, is this is a deal worked out so Sammy doesn’t get sued and Wayne gets everything he needs.

a little I guess but also saves the costs of completely re branding everything. Basically becomes a turnkey operation now

My dad got the original marinara sauce recipe when Dave F. was still there. They make a batch every once in a while.
