I literally slept in that building many times when it was a Puccino's and I was a 1L pulling frequent all-nighters.
BTW...excellent beer selection for $2...I alternate between Sol, Dos Equis, Pacifico, Negro Modelo, and some honduran beer I cannot recall.

I was talking to a relative of one of the owners the other day and that is the first thing I asked her about. It was def. not an easy task for them to get that license. They had to do alot of arse kissing and face to face time with the neighborhood folks and politicians.

I have a buddy that bartends there. I LOVE the BBQ pork tacos. They are legit.

even when there are literally 3 bars within a couple blocks and a few other restaurants with liquor licenses?

Some of the neighborhood folks at times think they have enough bars, etc, so they block any new stuff.

Never knew about this. Regular pre-game spot on Fridays, but $2 beer and tacos, that's a good deal right there. 5 tacos and 5 beers for ~$25? I'll take it.

Place is very legit. All of the tacos are good, but they are small. Sounds good right about now, actually
