You guys do not know how lucky you are to have a store like this. I brought a cooler with me when I came for the game. Before I left I filled a 65 quart cooler up to bring back to Huntsville Alabama. I brought back lots of boudin but I was impressed by the beef selection especially the dry aged.

Jesus Christ! Rouses gets more sucking off than Johnny's pizza.

It really isn't THAT great of a grocery store.

I have a bone in ribeye roast in the dry ager now. I let 'em go 40 days. I also like the smoked meats and hogshead cheese, never tried their boudin. Boudin is better when fresh. I doubt they make it daily at Rouses.

Rouses boudin is pretty decent. We pretty much only buy our meats from rouses considering our only other choice in this area is winndixie and walmart. But that Rouses over by the dome is like on a Whole Foods level almost.

The new one in the CBD is pretty sweet.

Your opinion and my opinion is that it is. You sure do seem to like to shite on Rouses threads. Can you show us on the king cake baby where the bad Rouses touched you?

King cake... I forgot about the pineapple king cake I bought last week at Rouses.

It was awesome.

The Rouses in the CBD is fantastic. I've really enjoyed having that as an option for groceries, especially local seafood/produce and wine.

Rouses here in South Ms are great. Diamondhead is the newest one, and the best.

I think the supermarkets suck in this city for the most part.

Yeah. And very easy to find your way around. Not confusing at all.

They do have a nice wine setup. Bought a bottle there last week then saw the same bottle at Whole Foods the next day for $5 more.

This is the point of my thread. You don't know what you have. I bet when people visit Huntsville they don'd bring a cooler with them to carry stuff home.

I have had one of the best king cakes ever from Rouses and one of the worst. I am still a big fan of their meat dept though.

I'd give up a Winn Dixie, A Piggly Wiggly, two Walgreens, one CVS, four conveniance stores and two po-boy places just to have a Rouses with in 10 miles of my house.

You do not know what you have until its gone.

This. To highcotton2, I'm from La. and load my ice chest every trip home. Even pack a few Hubig pies for childhood nostalgia, to eat on the drive back to Tn.
