Needed a side item to go with the main coarse at home. I thought the same thing, but anger took over I guess. Maybe had other things going on in his life and overpaying for Mash Taters set him off.

Opposite opinion. Think the fish is pretty good and the fried chicken terrible IMO. Maybe it's my neighborhood Rouse's fault.

I went by the other evening and grabbed an 8 piece mixed for 5.99. Incredible deal if you ask me. I ate 6 pieces over two days, felt like a fat POS, but damn it was tasty. Will do this again, albeit not soon.

If you can catch their baked chicken coming out fresh, it's really good.

The Rouses in Drusilla stopped putting bacon on the bar months ago. Now you know get four slices of bacon for $1.49.

Haven't been to a Rouses in a while, but when I was in Lafayette I always liked getting the meatloaf.

I'm in P'ville, I'll have to recheck. May have changed since last time I've bought some. It's been awhile. Knew it was to good to last if so.

You can also let them fix your plate to get the daily lunch and thry dont charge by the pound. Its like $5.49. On friday like most places its Catfish and Whitebeans..... they typically put way more than a pound in it, at least in Houma they do.

My favorite items are.
Cabbage Rolls
Fried fish
White beans
Pork Roast
